LARGE SCALE REPRESENTATIVE
The mission
The Large-Scale Representative will be responsible for managing and growing business relationships with large-scale clients and distributors across Arusha. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, driving sales, and ensuring the effective delivery of our products/services to meet client needs and achieve company targets.
Responsibilities:
- Product and Service Knowledge: Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s product and service offerings, including their features, benefits, and pricing structures. Stay informed about any updates or changes to ensure accurate information is provided to clients.
- Market Analysis and Tracking: Analyze the potential of Arusha or market in Tanzania. Track sales performance, market trends, and status reports to identify opportunities for growth and areas requiring improvement.
- Effectively present and promote our products and services by tailoring your approach to meet client needs. Use persuasive arguments and highlight how our products provide value to both existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their need.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Engage with them regularly to foster long-term partnerships and provide exceptional service that enhances customer loyalty.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and product performance. Regularly report on these metrics to management, providing insights and recommendations based on the data.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Deliver detailed reports to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Stay up to date with the industry situation and benchmarks.
- Keep abreast of the latest sales trends and best practices. Continuously seek feedback to refine your approach and improve overall sales performance.

PROFILE
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’experience in sales or business development within the agricultural sector, preferably on a large scale. Experience in East African market is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in agriculture are a plus.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Swahili is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong understanding of agricultural products and market dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Nationality: Kenyan citizenship is a plus but not required. Candidates from Tanzania are also encouraged to apply.
