CERATITIS BLOCK® is an Attract & Kill system designed to effectively control the Mediterranean fruit fly (Ceratitis capitata), mango fruit fly (Ceratitis cosyra), and natal fruit fly (Ceratitis rosa), major pests affecting avocado and mango crops. This solution features a container trap coupled with a wooden block impregnated with a male-specific pheromone, combined with an insecticide. Attracted males enter the trap, come into contact with the insecticide, and are eliminated, significantly reducing mating opportunities and overall fly populations.
