Ceratitis Block is a bait that attracts and kills for the control of Ceratitis fruit fly species.
It consists of a 5 cm x 5 cm wood block impregnated with the attractant Enriched Ginger Root Oil and the contact insecticide Malathion. Controls fruit flies such as Ceratitis capitata (Mediterranean fruit fly), Ceratitis cosyra (mango fly) and Ceratitis rosa (native fruit fly) found on crops such as avocado, mango, passion fruit, guava, peaches and oranges.
