Action: Protect
SEICAN® is a biocontrol product formulated with cinnamaldehyde (22.5%), a natural compound extracted from cinnamon, used as a fungicide, insecticide, and acaricide.
Its mode of action is based primarily on disrupting the cell membranes of fungi, insects, and mites, causing the rapid death of the pest organism. Cinnamaldehyde also acts by enzyme inhibition (disruption of respiratory and metabolic systems) and has a repellent/direct contact effect on several pests.
SEICAN® targets powdery mildew, botrytis, early blight, as well as mites and a wide range of sucking pests. Its EC formulation allows for good dispersion and fast action, while limiting residues.
